Christopher Perreault April 12, 1967 - October 31, 2025

Christopher Perreault, age 58, died in his home in Cincinnati on October 28, 2025. He is survived by his mother, Karalyn Kavanaugh, sister, Leslie Perreault, step mother, Linda Perreault and step father, Richard Albin, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Perreault, and his older brother, Andrew Perreault.

Chris was a musician and a house painter. He owned his own painting company, Natural Look Painting. Houses and clients in and around Cincinnati will miss him.

Chris was a well-known bass player in the Cincinnati area. His musical tastes ran from Heavy Metal to Blues with a bit of Jazz thrown in.

He played and toured most recently with Sonny Moorman. He started playing professionally some thirty years ago in heavy metal bands After Shock and Sinister. Over the years he played bass for Hyde Park Outrage, Second Sister, China White, Dan Varner, Kelly Thomas,  and The Sonny Morman Group.

What qualities must a bass player have? Being able to keep a rock solid beat is a given. Also you have to be steady, consistent and creative. Throw in positive attitude and you have Chris Perreault.

Chris loved animals. He had, at one time, six dogs — three of which were Jack Russel terriers. Due to their energy, he sometimes he referred to them as “the dog mafia.” He is survived by two cats.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Chris’s name to your local no-kill animal shelter is requested.

Chris drew people to him. He was a faithful friend, son and brother. He will live on in the memories of the people who knew him and in the music he left behind.
