My heart is heavy after hearing the news of Karen‘s passing. I was fortunate enough to meet Karen many years ago when she began her career at GE/Synchrony. Since then, Karen and I have often times had a good laugh or quip about life and work. Although I admired Karen‘s work ethic I suppose it was her fantastic skills as a crochet artist that I will always remember. Karen knitted a scarf for me a few years ago when I told her I needed one that was bigger size for a bigger guy! Karen made me a scarf that was warmer and better than anything I could have ever purchased in the store. I will cherish it now more than ever. God bless you Karen and please rest in peace. May heaven be filled with an abundance of yarn. I will miss you dearly.

Jay and Family: I have know Karen for over 20 years at Synchrony. I had already missed seeing her due to our working at home as a result of the pandemic and now we will never have the joy of reuniting. She was such a strong person with a big heart. I think almost all of us that have crossed paths with her have some knitted remembrance from her. You shouldered all you pain in the past years with such grace and good humor. You will be missed my friend.
