Mary Carol Teipel November 14, 1942 - April 15, 2024

Mary Carol Teipel passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024. She was born on November 14, 1942, in Covington, Kentucky, to the late John L. and Edith (Schmidt) Oliver. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Teipel, daughter Cynthia Ann, and granddaughter Michele Lyn Risch. As well as sisters and brothers Charlotte Schafer, Jeanette Bedel, James Oliver, and Daniel Oliver. She is survived by her children Christine Marie (Chip) Allphin of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Sharon Lyn (Michael Sr.) Risch of Owenton, Kentucky, R.J. Teipel and Misty Caudill of Walton, Kentucky. Grandchildren Zachery Allphin, Michael Risch II, Joseph (Amanda) Risch, Bo Meece, Christien Meece, Madeline Daugherty, and Rhonda Baughn. Great grandchildren Michael Risch III, Anthony Risch, and Miller Rouse. Mary is also survived by a brother, Richard Oliver of Edgewood, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews. Two special friends, Donna Thomas of Cincinnati, Ohio and Cyndi Holden of Verona, Kentucky. She was a domestic engineer for many years and had many friends. Mary was a Girl Scout Leader who was the first leader to start a Special Needs troop in Northern Kentucky. Was the neighborhood mother and friend to anyone who needed her. Always had an open-door policy for her home and never turned anyone away. She loved gambling, traveling, and collecting things from her travels. Mary had many adopted grandchildren from helping her daughter with her daycare. She loved her babies. There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled for a later date.

    I love you Mommy. I miss our talks, I miss you. I pray you are in heaven with Dad, Michele Lyn and your family. It’s been a long time that you have been here without them. Rest finally in peace.
