Ronald E. Ritz of Northern KY passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 17 at the age of 75. Ron is survived by his longtime partner and best friend Tracey Ryberg, his son Danny, brother Randy (Deborah), nephew Kyle, niece Kelly and his faithful Yellow Lab, Cooper. He is the son of the late Edmund and Helen Ritz.
Ron, a US Army veteran, was an avid fisherman. who’s second home was on his boat with his many friends almost every weekend during the fishing season on Lake Erie.
He spent over 50 years in the lumber industry in the Greater Cincinnati Area. He will be greatly missed by his family, associates, customers, and his many great friends.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date. Friends wishing to make a charitable contribution in his name may consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
