Teddy W. Nail, age 68, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on May 14, 2024, in Edgewood, KY. Ted is survived by his loving wife Leann Nail, daughters Amanda Vaisman (Ron), Kristen Miller, grandchildren Ivan, Everlea, Amelia, Jett, Joshua, Julian, grand-dogs Townes, Mowgli, mother Nadine Murrell, brother Doug Stepp. Ted was preceded in death by brother Larry Nail, grand-dog Pacey Miller.
Ted wore many hats: above all else, he loved spending time with his friends, family, and especially his grandchildren. Avid camper and boater, seafaring catamaran and Malibu Captain, Fixer of all the things, Proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, #1 Bengals and Reds fan (WHO-DEY?!?!), GrandPaw, Slalom Water-skier, yet his most cherished title was Papa Ted.
While serving in the U.S. Army, Ted was awarded a Sharpshooter Badge M-16, Expert Badge Hand Grenade, and Good Conduct Medal.
As an organ donor, Ted’s life gave life and was a testament to the man he was and still is.
Per Ted’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held, date TBD.
