William M. Siegel, Jr., 94, passed away on January 6, 2026, peacefully surrounded by family. Bill was born on September 16, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late William M. Siegel and Hazel (Taft) Siegel.
He is preceded in death by his 1st wife Catherine (Donovan) Siegel and his 2nd wife Hildegard (Bootwalla) Siegel. He is survived by his partner of 18 years, Hedwig Lindenman, his children Colleen (Beth Pearson) Siegel, Kurt (Tina Hultt) Siegel, Cathy (John) Hudson and Anya (Tim) Byrd, his grandchildren Catherine (Adam) Wylie, Mary (Eric Holm) Hudson, Sunita Pearson-Siegel, Kayla Byrd and Eliese Bryd, his great grandchildren Hudson Wylie and Aesha Holm.
He earned a degree in political science at Miami University of Ohio graduating in 1954. Bill served in the Air Force after ROTC reaching the rank of Captain. He worked at Western & Southern until taking early retirement and then served on the Montgomery and later Madeira city councils. Bill’s celebration of life will be held at Mt. Zion Christian Church and Cemetery in New Richmond on June 6, 2026.
Visitation from 1pm to 2pm, memorial remembrance from 2pm to 3pm with a reception following for family and friends from 3pm to 5pm. A private burial service for the family will follow.
